SLABLOC is an environmentally friendly, non-toxic, odourless, water-based treatment designed specifically to moisture-proof residential slab edges. It penetrates deep into the concrete, reacting with free alkalis to create a permanent internal barrier that blocks external moisture, salts, and contaminants from entering through the slab face. This permanent internal crystalline barrier stops rising damp, salt attack, and efflorescence – the leading causes of slabedge staining, moisture ingress into wall frames, and costly rectification work.
The SLOBLOC formular also provide a secondary hydrophobic action that actively repels moisture away from the slab surface. Application is fast and simple using a knapsack or pump sprayer, with no visible change to the slab edge surface, allowing construction to continue immediately without disruption.
