T1 Adelaide Airport Car Park – 55,000 m2

The Adelaide International Airport multi-level car park project involved the treatment of over 55,000 square metres of concrete across multiple levels. As a key part of airport infrastructure, the concrete needed to endure heavy vehicle loads, frequent use, and long-term exposure to moisture and airborne contaminants. Integra’s DEEPCURE was selected to provide a premium, compliant cure and long-term concrete protection—ensuring the structure performs reliably for years to come.

Multi-level car parks come with a unique set of challenges, particularly in high-traffic environments like international airports:

  • Heavy Traffic Loads: Repeated stress from daily vehicle use leads to surface wear, tyre squeal, and structural degradation.

  • Moisture & Corrosion Risk: Multi-storey structures are vulnerable to moisture ingress, which can accelerate steel corrosion and structural damage—especially without UV exposure to break down typical membranes.

  • Surface Dusting & Aesthetic Wear: Concrete in high-visibility public areas must resist dusting and remain visually appealing over time.

  • Long-Term Performance Without Ongoing Maintenance: Airport infrastructure requires maximum lifespan with minimal maintenance interruptions.
