Specification Statement – Burnishing Application

DensaCURE shall be a nano-lithium based concrete hardener and densifier, specifically formulated for burnishing applications on cementitious surfaces. The product shall be applied to clean, dry, fully cured concrete prior to mechanical burnishing. Upon application, DensaCURE shall penetrate deeply into the concrete surface and react chemically to form insoluble calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H), increasing surface density and hardness.

Following application, the concrete surface shall be burnished using a high-speed burnisher fitted with appropriate pads (minimum 1500 RPM) to enhance product absorption, drive chemical reaction, and produce a sealed, dust-proof, and aesthetically improved finish. The burnishing process shall activate the densifier and develop a polished sheen without the use of topical coatings.

DensaCURE shall be non-toxic, low VOC, and require no rinsing. Treated surfaces shall exhibit improved abrasion resistance, reduced porosity, and simplified maintenance while remaining breathable.
